We were a group of 24 so finding a cottage for that size makes it a almost impossible. So we booked casa mia 1 and 2. We grew up going to youth camps so this was perfect and nostalgic for us. Camp Adelaide had everything we need and the open layout + beach area activities really made it so easy for us to catch up with one another.

I would say they cabin had everything you need in terms of kitchen supplies (big pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc) even a rice cooker! Which was amazing cause we never see this provided so we bring our own all the time. The grill was also great and we took advantage of the fire pit right in front of the porch. What was lacking were serving plates which I kind of expected so we just brought aluminum trays and reused those throughout the weekend. And big garbage bags (which we also brought)

I would say if youre booking these cabins, here are some things we did that made our stay more comfortable:

wear indoor flipflops/leave outdoor shoes by the door! Keeps the inside clean for longer bring a fan if you sleep hot (theyre very clear that there is no AC) bug spray brought bath towels for the shower floors so it wouldn’t get too wet after you step out/keep the washrooms cleaner

If there’s any feedback I have for the admin team, it’s maybe to have the main field mowed. It wouldve been nice to play outdoor games and use the big plot of land at the front. Otherwise, I appreciate the communication and detail in the website...

The backwoods geodesic dome offers an unparalleled camping experience, providing a breathtaking view of the night sky. Lying under the stars is truly mesmerizing. The dome itself, while boasting a decent interior, remained quite hot, but there was still plenty to keep you entertained. The natural surroundings, which include a pretty big picturesque lake, are also fantastic. The cost is quite reasonable considering the amenities provided, such as a fully functional kitchen, air conditioning, an electric heater, and an outdoor covered dining area with plenty of tables.|However, there were some aspects of the stay that I didn’t enjoy. The sheets were rough and uncomfortable, despite the warm blankets. Additionally, the abundance of mosquitoes at night was quite bothersome. If you tend to attract mosquitoes, it’s recommended to stay in your tent or the outdoor dining area to avoid them.|The room came with a large portable box fan, which was a significant plus. Even on the lowest setting, it kept us cool by circulating air from the air conditioner quietly. The dome also featured a reasonably sized exhaust fan in the ceiling, which effectively kept out smoke, mosquitoes, and unpleasant odors. Additionally, there was a moderately sized AC heater inside, with temperature controls conveniently located next to the beds.|Overall, despite a few drawbacks, the experience was highly enjoyable. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5...

We went there on weekends lately and it was such an amazing experience. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They were patient enough to help me find the perfect dates and perfect star dome in order to accommodate all our needs. The scene is stunning. The start sky is definitely amazing. The sunrise in the morning fog is so impressive. We could see the sunrise on the lake from lying in the king size bed in the star dome. Waken up by the first beam of Sunday, opening eyes and appreciate the sunrise is such a luxury. The mosquitoes are not friendly but that’s pretty much the same wherever you go for camping, sort of a combo. But this site actually kills the bugs and mosquitoes every week. We saw the worker spraying pesticides on the day we checked out. The water park is so entertaining for both kids and adults. A bit of challenging even for adults who don’t usually work out like me. But that’s the fun part. We soaked in the water for whole day! Except for the time we rented a boat to cruise around on the lake. Very relaxing. You have your own bbq stove and gazebo by the star dome, which is so convenient. The washroom and shower room are shared but since we went there on week days, there was pretty much just us using the facilities. Very clean with no bad smell at all. Five star...
