I recently visited a Laura’s farm, and it was a truly enchanting experience. The fields were ablaze with vibrant yellow blooms as far as the eye could see, creating a stunning sea of sunshine. The farm’s layout was well-organized, with clearly marked pathways for visitors to wander through the fields and take in the breathtaking views.
The sunflowers themselves were in peak bloom, and their cheerful faces seemed to follow the sun, adding to the farm’s natural beauty. It was a photographer’s paradise, with endless opportunities for capturing Instagram-worthy shots.
The farm also offered various activities for visitors, such as sunflower picking, which was a fun and interactive way to take home a piece of the beauty. They had a charming little farm shop selling sunflower-themed merchandise and locally made treats, making it a perfect spot for souvenirs.
One highlight of the visit was the warm and welcoming staff. They were knowledgeable about the sunflowers and eager to answer questions, enhancing the overall experience.
The only minor drawback was about videography as there not allowing fly drone, as the farm was understandably popular. However, the wide expanse of sunflowers made it easy to find a quieter spot for those seeking a more serene visit.
In conclusion, the sunflower farm was a delightful destination for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone looking to immerse themselves in a sea of golden blossoms. I highly recommend a visit during the sunflower season; it’s a surefire way to...
Read moreCharming pumpkin patch that's reasonably priced but still covers a lot of the basics with a pumpkin field, corn maze, farm animals. They have a big sunflower field and a wildflower field (which is mostly over for the season, though the wildflowers are still very colourful and pretty for photos, and you can still make a beautiful bouquet if you're patient). We brought our dog and ended up spending about 2 hours here.
The instagrammable spots are quite spread out in the different areas which makes it fun to explore. Since it's not overly popular yet, the lines to get photos are short so you won't be waiting too long.
They moved their farm from down the street, so some of the photos posted from a few years ago aren't how it looks anymore. It looks like they're in the middle of building their new main farm building so I can see this place getting more popular over the next few years once that's done.
In case anyone else was wondering, the food was $7.99+tax for the apple cider float and $14.99 for the pumpkin sundae.
I'd definitely come back next year, maybe earlier in September so I can see the wildflowers and sunflowers...
Read moreWe had an amazing time at Laura’s Farm Stand! My wife and I ventured through the sunflower garden, stopping along the way to admire the flowers and take some photos. We attended on a Friday at approximately 6pm. It was not busy and we had plenty of privacy on the path, never feeling rushed while taking some photos at one of the many perfectly curated spots! After we had our fill of the towering sunflowers, we picked our own flowers, collecting supplies at the stand. They provided large glass jars, ‘snips’ and water, as well as an overwhelming field of colourful flowers! These was also extremely affordable at $16/bouquet. There were virtually no bugs, I was nervous there would be bees with the flowers, I saw only a few the entire time. We finished off buying some Ontario peaches and lemonade at the farm stand. It took some restraint not to buy multiple pounds of fudge!! Next time for sure, definitely regretting that decision now. The staff were incredibly engaging and friendly. We will definitely be back and recommend to...
