Updated due to the answer we received:
Thank you for your reply. However, I need to clarify a few important points. My friends developed bites during our stay, and a doctor confirmed that these were consistent with bedbug bites. We photographed the bites immediately after returning home the same evening, as the entire day was spent traveling. We also provided medical documentation as proof. Unfortunately, these supporting comments were removed, which we feel is unfair to other guests who deserve to see the full picture. The fact that pest control did not find bedbugs after our departure does not erase what happened to us. Bedbugs can spread and hide, and it is possible for inspections conducted later not to detect them immediately. Medical evidence, however, cannot be dismissed. At checkout, when asked a general “how was your stay,” we answered politely. The full effects of the bites became clear only later, which is why we contacted you the next day. This is a normal timeline for such cases.
We stand by our review because our experience was very real, with both medical and emotional consequences. Instead of receiving understanding, we were met with denial, which made the situation even more upsetting.
This is the previous answer:
We had a very upsetting experience at this place. During our stay, my friends were bitten by bedbugs – this was later confirmed by a doctor. Instead of showing understanding or responsibility, the host dismissed our concern and even accused us of making false claims. This was extremely offensive, as not only did we have to deal with medical consequences, but we also spent a lot of emotional energy just trying to prove what was real. In return, we received no apology – only negative and defensive reactions.
The internet connection was also very poor. Wi-Fi did not work inside the rooms at all, and we had to go outside to get any signal. Mobile network coverage was also unavailable.
Overall, it was a very stressful experience that I...
Read moreUnfortunately, it was a terrible experience. I was traveling with friends and we were bitten by bedbugs🥲🫠 The owner refused to admit his guilt and was extremely rude. We went to the hospital and sent all the photos and certificates with the doctor's report, but the owner laughed in our face and dragged out the process for 1.5 weeks. A very unpleasant experience and it's a shame that this happened. Also, there is no connection on the territory and the Wi-Fi does not work well. Be careful.
Update: Let's be more honest! We told you about the problem, you sent us to the hospital, the doctor issued a certificate with the result that it was bedbug bites!!! After that, you decided to ignore and not respond for a couple of days, thereby deliberately delaying the process! Don't just wave it around, but draw conclusions and be able to solve problems. You are not customer-oriented at all, unfortunately.
Also, the property deleted comments with evidence of bedbug bites… previously, photos of the bites were attached to the comments, but the property deleted the girls’...
Read moreFirst the cabin we stayed in was brilliantly clean and fresh. There was no smell of stale air or residual odour of the previous client. The cleaning staff must air out the cottages every time they clean them. It's a small thing but shows a great attention to detail.|The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable. I was able to park right in front of the cabin which made moving luggage very convenience. The view from the cabin porch is beautiful.|The cabins are conveniently located about 10 min from Gros Morne National park and we used them as a home base for exploring the Bonne Bay area. It is a 60 min drive to Norris Point or Rocky Harbour. There's no restaurant on site but there are good restaurants in Woody Point 15-20 min away. |Staff is friendly and an on-site shop is handy if you need snacks or other amenities. They also offer a laundry, but it is only available after the cleaning staff use it for bedding. We couldn't take advantage of it due to our schedule, but it is a...
