This was my second time visiting Tiffany Falls but the first time we couldn't find parking so we never actually got to the falls. We got lucky this time, with cars coming and going from the small parking area.

There is a small fee for parking here, with passes available for purchase from a machine. While we were there, we saw two city(?) employees checking that everybody had paid. A few tickets were issued. Since it was a flat rate to park, most people were handing their parking passes along to newcomers as they left. I wasn't so lucky but the person that took my spot was.

The walk to the falls was pleasant, with lots to see along the well defined path. It takes about ten minutes along the water's edge to get there. The fall colours made it a very beautiful and relaxing walk, with frequent stops along the way to take pictures.

There was a sturdy wooden viewing platform near the falls. It's a good safe place to shoot pictures from. The more adventurous visitors can walk right up to the falls along the sides or even up the middle on rocks and outcroppings. It's constantly damp so some care is required to go this route.

The view of the cascading falls was gorgeous! It was enhanced by the colours of the fall leaves on the ground and drifting into the valley from the surrounding hills. Although there were lots of people around, it was peaceful. There were a couple of moments with no people, allowing me to get a couple of good shots. The people in the shots, however, allow you to see the scale and intimacy of the falls. Beautiful!

There were a few photographers here today, some shooting portraits and some shooting the falls, along with everybody else shooting happy snaps with their cell phones. I don't think there were any visitors here who didn't shoot at least one picture. The place is gorgeous!

If you're planning to visit, bring your camera and a pair of waterproof shoes (just in case). Use a slow shutter speed to show the smooth flow of the water. If you don't have a tripod, the railing from the viewing platform is sturdy enough and in a good position to get a great shot from.

There are lots more waterfalls to explore in and around Hamilton....

The Wedding Veil waterfall, its natural wedding veil water flow makes it the most wedding photo shoot venue, engagement proposal venue. In a perfect scenario, you be lucky to see the full force of the water and feel the wind and mist right on your face and see the majestic falls at its best. On a dry day, it will just be like a pee size water maybe just as strong as your bath shower. We find it more fun when to feel the strong force of water coming down. You can still get close to even behind the water falls and of course with caution and full adult supervision if with children. -shortest walk from parking. Youโ€™ll reach the gore in 5mins or less. -very easy trail, child friendly and I believe even wheel chair can access to the falls. -pay parking available on site. Space is small so youโ€™ll need patience to wait for your turn on a busy weekend. I think almost all conservation park like this have small parking area. It is probably hard to create huge parking spaces and not to damage and affect the conservation area. -no washroom onsite, be prepared to serve yourself when nature calls. Hopefully people continue to take back their own garbage so to maintain this place naturely clean. Be mindful for distancing during covid pandemic. We noticed more people forget about being cautious once they get excited to get their photo taken at the viewing platform. Donโ€™t be shy to remind others after all is for everyoneโ€™s safety. Included some of photos we got and also a video for you to see how itโ€™s like to walk along the water flow and behind the water falls when the waterfall is at its full force. Just added winter scenes this Feb 2022. Do drop me a like if you find this review helpful....

Tiffany Falls in Hamilton, Ontario, is a breathtaking sight in winter, especially when frozen. The cascading water turns into a stunning icy formation, creating a mesmerizing natural sculpture. The frozen falls glisten in the sunlight, making it a picture-perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers alike.

The short hike to the falls, about 10โ€“15 minutes from the parking lot, is scenic and enjoyable. However, winter conditions make the trail quite slippery in some areas, so proper footwear with good grip is essential. Dressing warmly is also a must, as the area can be quite cold, especially with the wind chill near the falls.

Despite the chilly temperatures, the experience is absolutely worth it. The frozen falls have a peaceful, almost magical quality, and the surrounding snow-covered trees add to the serene atmosphere. The sound of trickling water beneath the ice reminds visitors that nature is constantly shifting and changing.

For those looking for a quick winter adventure, Tiffany Falls is a great choice. Itโ€™s easily accessible and offers a rewarding view with minimal effort. Just be prepared for icy paths and dress accordingly. Whether you're visiting for a short walk, photography, or simply to enjoy the beauty of nature, Tiffany Falls in its frozen state is a must-see...

5 incredible Hamilton Waterfalls ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿฅพ As I travel all over Ontario I try to get a few hikes in at one time. Ontario is massive and its not easy to drive back and forth between home and trails. So usually my hikes are of 2-3 near trails at once. This was part of a Waterfalls Crawl I did where I was able to visit a few locations in the same day. Took a drive down to Hamilton just for that. Was lucky to visit the following Waterfalls: Felkers Falls Buttermilk Falls Tiffany Falls Webster's Falls Albion Falls Each Falls is unique and glorious in its own way. If you get a chance, visit that region so that you can experience each one. #waterfalls #WaterfallMagic #chasingwaterfalls #ontariohiking #getoutside
