La Khabine - très Magnifique!

My husband and I just spent three glorious days at La Khabine located a short distance outside Mt. Tremblant Quebec in the village of La Conception. La Khabine is part of an ultra modern contemporary development known as Chic Shack which best describes this stunning cabin and location.

Rarely do you come across such a beautiful cabin in such a gorgeous location that actually is more breathtaking than the already stunning photos. It took our breath away!! In addition to being impeccably clean, the cabin is beautifully decorated with modern and cozy chalet decor and very well appointed with everything you could possibly need for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The massive exterior deck overlooking the tree tops invites you to lounge outdoors despite any kind of weather and knowing a cozy little fire awaits you inside.

As the old saying goes, “saving the best for last,” we cannot say enough about our warm and hospitable host, Kristine Preston. This gal has it all and goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect for you right from the second you walk in the door. Easy to see why she has earned the rating as a Premier Host! Who doesn’t love finding wine, chocolate and a candle awaiting your arrival as you step into serenity! The ease of booking and confidence knowing Kristine is just a call or text away, makes a stay at La Khabine beyond perfection. One can tell the love that was put in the setup and care of this rental. It is well appointed and there is nothing that lacks quality from the major appliances to the small ones, to the linens, towels etc. It is a modern unit which tries to minimize any work effort for the guests.

The weather also enhanced our stay, and we were able to take advantage of the amazing deck that adds to the living space. An added bonus would be a hot tub right on the premises but the cedar sauna adds to health benefits of the site.

We will aim to return to take greater advantage of all the amenities and the neighborhoods. Our stay was too brief but long enough to enjoy the tranquility surrounded by the greenery.

This was the best accommodations I’ve stayed in around the Mont Tremblant. The moment I walked in the door, the calm, cozy, warm yet modern decor instantly put me in relaxation mode. The owners left no rock unturned and made this a very comfortable stay. Right down to the little details. Great location, ski hill and village 20mins away, hiking Montagne Verte 15 mins away and restaurants, grocery store and anything else 10 mins away. Nuzzled in the trees, you have nice privacy and feel apart of nature. If you’re looking for the perfect balance and relaxing getaway! La Khabine is the place for you! 10/10 highly...
