Approach this magical spot slowly and enjoy. An absolute highlight of my entire SK trip, perhaps because I am from dense Southern Ontario, to get so visibly far away from any other soul and just go sing with the birds for a bit here, after a tip of the hat to the Cree Grandmothers. Great spot to meditate, too, or there is a table in a gazebo, at the map point.

Not very developed, which is appropriate for a bird sanctuary. Drive slowly through the active cow pasture as the cattle may be ON the road. It can feel very remote, but we had good cell coverage. There is some modern signage, and very simple trails. Mostly it's about abundant bird populations on the lake and its shores.
