RAM Rodeo. It was an amazing day again this year! Really fun rodeo. Thank you, Jennifer, for your organization and another successful event. People were nice and respectful to each other. The athletes deserve the utmost respect, young and older. Beautiful hats, boots, clothing, and jewelry for sale. There were more vendors and spectators this year. The mechanial bull was hilarious! The food is very expensive. A cushion for the bleechers is a good idea. Parking was free, but donations for Cadets were appreciated. The show goes on after the bull riding, when everyone leaves. Read moreWe go to the fair grounds every year for the fall Fair; excellent venue. There is lots of parking, the buildings are large, at least 2 are for vendors, the others for livestock.
They have a large area with seating, for livestock competitions, another for tractor pulls and a demolition derby.
For the Fall Fair, the set up a large tent with lots of tables,allowing you to be out of the sun and sit while eating, or listen to live music, in the food vendor area.

Read moreHazardous Waste day today at the Orangeville Fairgrounds. I arrived just as it opened but there was 100+ cars ahead of me waiting to get in.
The Dufferin staff handled the transfer of wastes from residents' cars very well and efficiently. They were knowledgeable and helpful.
Even though it took me an hour and 15 minutes to get to the unloading area, the long line kept moving.
This is the only Hazardous Waste day this year so the lines and the wait times were expected.
