Have been living in Ile-Bizard for 18 years and have seen it's ups and downs. The village is definitely sub par compared to other West Island villages such as Beaurepaire, Pointe-Claire village, Ste Anne-de-Bellevue... Etc. Improvements in this area are long overdue. The corruption within our Burrough is also above average and has thankfully been cleaned up somewhat with the current mayor Marinacci. The lack of ressources and police station on Island makes it easy for citizens to be above the law and facilitate abuse of the system. The island scores high with it's pro nature theme however this point of appeal is slowly starting to fade out throughout recent years with all contractors ever so anxious to annihilate the forest and shorelines in order to stack them houses as close as possible to one another in the name of $. The country feel and such close proximity to the city make it a desirable place to live for those who like elbow room. The businesses also have a village/community feel as opposed to the dismissive...

Small island in the west of the island with a small amount of people who live there. I live there and i chose to because it is always calm and you can stay with your family go to the nature park and there is allot of cyclable roads for bikes and allot of people walking their dogs or running or doing sports. What I don't like is when there is traffic because of the only bridge we have. It slows down everybody but there is a ferry in case you want to go to...

Spent a weekend here looking for cozy spot to chill out, but We couldn't find. All the tables are close to each other where you are not comfortable with other people around you. But, I should mention that it has a beatifull stony beach where it was a nice place to take photo. Moreover, the WC was really clean...

Great destination for a bike ride. Either in a group or alone. A stop at Bois de l’Isle Bizard nature park for a light lunch or snack.

A quiet off island location just attached by a tiny bridge connecting it to the island of Montreal.
