I was showing some friends around our area and thought it might be a good idea to take a short hike after eating an assortment of deserts and coffee at Kelly's Bake Shop in Alma. My friends were a little tired so I suggested Dixon Falls walking path. It's about a 20 minute easy hike. There's raised wooden walkways. The scenery was out of this world all mossy green with Brooks and rapids. We came to some glorious waterfalls and everyone stopped to take pictures. Then we continued and came to higher more beautiful fall and again we all took pictures. When we got back to the car every one agreed that it was worth the effort and would not want to have missed this hike. Read moreIn my opinion one of the most photogenic waterfall in East Canada, which offers so many different views and perspectives for photographers. Best lights you'll have 1 or 2 hours after sunrise or before sunset. It's a very short distance from the parking lot, not really a hike. Alongside the waterfall with many cascades and in the end it goes around a corner you'll go over a wooden trail. For long-term exposures it's the only difficulty that you mostly must positioning your tripod on the wooden trail and the movements of others disturbing. So avoid rush hours...
