A beautiful river destroyed by dams and industrial and agricultural runoff. It is an incredible valley to tour. Unfortunately the Conservative government, in their ultimate wisdom, allowed a new TransCanada highway to be built without rest stops along the way for tourists to stop and enjoy the views. They ultimately direct traffic straight through the internal area of the province, and straight to the coastal areas. This leaves those areas with little activity or revenue to boost the economy.
