You really need to know how to get there in order to not getting lost. The only downside was getting there because there is a lot of Construction going on. What once was all trees and beauty is now torn down and gravel. On the bright side, once you are there it is a magical peaceful place that you can spend the whole day with your family. There is grass for a picnic and to just lay in the sun. We didn't even want to leave but had to because the sun was starting to set. This trail isn't for children under 6 years of age because of the steep descent to the falls. There are ropes to hold onto to help you down to the falls, and to help you back up. For anyone who loves to swim under waterfalls this one is a must! We are definitely going back!!

The last stretch of road to the covered ATV bridge before the trail to the falls is pretty rough. Tougher to get back out because it's all loose rock. No issues for ATVs, dirt bikes, or side-by-sides as that's what the trail is for in the first place. The last stretch of trail down to the base of the falls is best described as bouldering, with ropes tied around to help, however, there is a less difficult path to the left somewhere that takes you up and around that's very steep but not boulders. If you have bad knees or timid kids this is not for you. There is no cell service at all. So now you have a better idea if you can make it. If you can, you definitely should go! Beware of broken glass. Have water shoes and bug spray.

The waterfall is wonderful, splendid landscape. Just be careful with the trail that is about 15 minutes to get to the waterfall, the trail is very steep so it is good to be very careful on the descent. But overall the view is wonderful and has a small space for you to sit and enjoy the view.

Incredible swimming hole. Can be tough to get to on a car, but easy in anything with a little ground clearance. You can jump the waterfall and overall the whole place is beautiful for swimming. It's a shame so many people have littered here though as there is a lot of garbage and broken glass. Try and leave with a bit more garbage then you bring in to help...
