We didn't love this trail. I see the reviews saying it was the best trail ever for them and we just did not agree at all. We did the red trail which was nice but the views were average. We do hike alot outside of Canada so maybe we're a bit spoiled. We went on a rainy day so it was a bit more tricky for us as it's very rocky but I think on a dry day this would be easy. We skipped the adventure trail as it was slippery and wet but I do recommend it based on how it looks. There is a steep ladder to come up or down from (depending on which end you start at). Also, the saucer view is lacklustre as it overlooks a construction/escalation site. Overall it's nice but I wouldn't say it was extraordinary.

Parking were plentiful for the long weekend. 2 portapotty at trail head. Did the red trail with a side of yellow "adventure trail". Red trail had a ladder to climb, turn around and step down if you are weary of heights. Yellow adventure trail is fun for the kids, had several spots for you to craw or squeeze through. There 1 ladder missing a step, young kids 5+ can be done with adult supervision. Views were awesome, well worth the shaded hike, kept things cool on a 22c sunny August day.

Spent the long weekend exploring the Cup and Saucer Trail and what an absolute blissful experience it was. In Manitoulin Island, this trail offers breathtaking views, peaceful forest paths, and just the right touch of adventure. The climb was invigorating. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking for an escape into nature, this place is pure serenity. Highly recommend making time for this trail if you’re anywhere near Northern Ontario.

I loved this place from my childhood and I was so happy to be able to introduce my husband to it. We took our small dog with us and we were so pleased that all the other hikers with dogs kept theirs on leash as well. The trails were still rustic and clean. The views were as wonderful as I remembered from my childhood. We did the 4km loop as our schedule allowed and I'm hoping to bring my children and grandchild back to visit next time I am "home" again.

The only negative was the Porta potties were filthy and out of toilet paper, which I've learned to be prepared for. It's unfortunate for an otherwise well kept...
