Fort Providence — Local services in Northwest Territories

We travel in a 41' 5th wheel so site and amenities are important for us. We booked A15 and it was a beautiful site overlooking the river. Site was level and easy to manuver into. It was a bit confusing on the website on whether we could water fill our trailer at the park or not. There is no water fill here. We did go to nearby gas station to fill up. Sani dump is available near exit and electrical is upgraded to 30 amp. Website needs to reflect that change though. Showers are construction so porta potties and portable showers are available. While the proximity to the MacKenzie river was worth the stay and it has a brautiful path and day use are, there were some issues the wekend we were there. It was the least maintained of the 3 campgrounds we used on our weekend trip. The manager was nowhere to be found, the garbage by the exit was nearly overflowing and the bathrooms in dire need of cleaning.
