We did not have a good experience despite the great reviews which was disappointing. The agent was quick to respond to inquiries and the prices were lower than the cruise line rates - the positives. Unfortunately nothing else worked out for us. We were initially only offered the higher priced cabin - it took a second inquiry to obtain a quote for the lower priced one. We chose to select the higher priced one. I was told that with our booking in a Veranda Plus we would receive a free specialty dinner & wifi minutes compliments of the agency; according to my other quotes, everyone booking a Veranda Plus received those perks regardless of whom they booked through. Also in the second email I inquired about the available cabins I had to choose from. (My other quotes offered me a choice of cabin). I was told that I did not get to choose one, but all of the cabins were nice. I had reservations about this, but with spending more money on the upgraded cabin and the agent's reassurance that the cabin would be good, we went ahead with the booking. As it turned out - we were assigned one of the worst cabins on the ship (6001 Azamara Quest). According to the reviews of this cabin on various forums (Cruise Critic, Cruise Insider etc.) it was horrible for noise. It is directly above the stage for the band and next to the bow with the anchors going up and down - which was also the view if you were having breakfast on your balcony. I asked our agent to change the cabin. I was told that we may or may not get a cabin change so we might be stuck with this cabin. The idea of spending over $8000+ for 10 nights in a noisy cabin was a deal breaker - it was a cabin I never would have selected had I been given a choice. We cancelled. The cancellation process was simple - we paid the agent their $169 fee and Azamara refunded our deposit less their $150 charge. Three stars given for response time, pricing & ease of cancellation. Zero stars for being put in this situation. We were not shopping for the lowest priced cruise (as indicated in my first email to them where I said we were looking at Azamara, Oceania, Explora and Atlas lines). We were shopping for good service which we unfortunately did not find at this agency. As we begin our retirement travel years this was a...
Read moreOur planning started a few months ago when we first seen an ad from Vacations for Canadians for a 10 night Southern Caribbean Cruise on the Celebrity Equinox. We inquired and were connected with Rick Ayoup as our Travel Agent. As first time Cruisers we had lots of questions. RIck was a real gentleman, very knowledgeable, and was always there to answer any questions and concerns we had, which made the whole process much easier for us. The Cruise was excellent, everything went well as planned, the ship, the crew, the food, the entertainment, everything was just fantastic, we loved every minute of it and quite frankly at the end of the 10 days we wished we could have stayed longer. We met lots of people from all over which was wonderful to get to know. We booked our second cruise on Celebrity Beyond Oct 19, 2024 to the ABC Islands with Rick Ayoup and Vacations for Canadians. Once again we had a wonderful trip and everything went as planned, again Rick is an excellent Travel Agent and answered all our questions and any concerns and always there for us Update, since our last trip, we have booked a third trip with Rick, a 16 day vacation, Aug 29th,2025 from Quebec City to Northern Europe, with stops in Newfoundland, Iceland, Ireland, France and England, what an amazing itinerary. We now have 17 family members booked on this trip from Canada, U.S. and Cayman Islands. Rick was amazing being able to coordinate and make all our arrangements with all our family members We cannot say enough about the Quality of service that we receive from Rick Ayoup at Vacations for Canadians.
Thank you Rick Ayoup and Vacations for Canadians for wonderful vacations! I think we’re are hooked….!

Read moreI would give more than 5 stars if possible!!! Our agent, Teena Dowd, saved us from my mistake at the last minute by getting our ETA visas as we were at the airport trying to board our flight to New Zealand! We had a fabulous experience from start to finish! We flew United Airlines over and Air New Zealand back. We flew business class each way and it was worth every penny! I slept 90% of both flights (both took off in the evening). Cannot say enough about Air New Zealand! Wonderful service always with a smile, good food for airline food, new, quiet plane, and comfortable sleep. We were picked up at the airport, taken to our hotel and received friendly service, quiet, comfortable rooms, good food, great location right in the harbor and taken personally to the boat for our cruise. The staff on the boat were fantastic. Only negatives were we unexpectedly had to stay at sea an extra day to get the hull pristine as required to go to the subantarctic islands for the next cruise, WIFI was pitiful, and the activities director was not always clear about the next day activities. Over all, a great rating, because they went out of their way to accommodate our every wish. Plus for me, but not typical for American cruise lines, there are no TV's on the boat. We were travelling with Coral Expeditions, an Australian cruise line. Food ranged from outstandingly delicious to inedible. Cabins were cleaned twice daily. Very comfortable and good hot showers. Great sites chosen for expedition, with great lecturers, guides and photographer. Exceeded...
