Nice paths, rude rude people. Birders all pushing and shoving with no concern for anyone. While photographing at turtle on the property a birder deliberately kicked my camera and broke off a lens. After he laughed at me claiming "I deserved it for not being a birder on birder property", I mentioned the incident to BSC suggesting they need to encourage civility on the property. Instead I was lectured that they were not liable and that it was my fault for not caring for my equipment. I wasn't claiming you were liable, I was saying that people need not be so rude on the property. I guess though these are all birders and are just as rude. I would...

Despite the rain and wind we still saw activity. Looking down on the pond there were a dozen Wood Ducks, on the prarie grass a couple of Cedar Waxwings overlooked by 3 Flickers. At the treeline by the lakeedge an Osprey with a fish in it's talons was persued by a juvy Bald Eagle. All this in under an hour. We intend to return in the fall to see ...
