My son and I went for a high noon ride at Diamond J Ranch this afternoon. This experience was so amazing, from the people and the horses, to the trails and the beautiful autumn weather, it was magnificent. Flo was extremely friendly and informative when I called to book our ride and Irene, our guide, was also super friendly and gave us such a relaxing and intimate adventure. It was the best time I’ve had in a long time. We are not experienced riders but we both felt comfortable and completely safe with our new friends Skydancer and Peanut. We were able to meet the other members and the owner and we were thrilled to engage with them and offer snacks to our friends after the ride. I highly recommend the Diamond J Ranch 10/10. We will definitely be visiting them again! Thank you so much for making this day possible! Happy trails until we meet again!! 🤠

Worst ranch ever. They do not care about the well being of their riders. On Aug 3rd 2019 my daughter was riding a pony at this ranch. We told the ranch hand several times the saddle was slipping. He stopped once to adjust the saddle. This did not stop the saddle for completely sliding under the pony and my 6 year old little girl from falling off. She broke her arm in two places slightly above the elbow. and dislocated her elbow. Because the pieces of bone were significantly out of place she required surgery. She obtained a left supracondylar fracture type 3. When we told the owner what happen he said it was likely just a sprain and told my crying little girl to shake it off. In my opinion this was pure negligence on the owners part. Be warned

Overall I had a very positive experience. First, I came with kids for a pony ride, owners were very nice and it seems like horses are in a very caring hands. I came back for a mountain ride, which was 1 hour long. The ride was enjoyable, we went through the woods and up the mountain, spotted a deer. I gave 4 stars only because the website suggested that they accommodate riders of all levels, but in fact, the ride was a slow walk. Still a great experience!

The worst experience I have ever had somewhere. I would give 0 stars if I could. A friend and I were staying down in the area for a few days and we googled what to do in the area. This place showed up and we noticed it was only a few minutes up the road so we thought we would just drive down to see if they had anytime to do a trail ride that day. When we arrived this one lady who was lovely (the only nice part of this place) told us to come with her out to the ring, that the lady that does the trail rides was out there doing pony rides and she would tell us if there was any time. When we got out there she told us to have a seat she would grab her, the lady that was I charge of the trail rides proceeds to walk passed us and the other woman shouted those are the girls Flo. She looks us up and down and tells us to come back to the office with her, so we’re thinking she has time and we have to sign some paperwork. We get back into the office and there was 5 people in there waiting to go out on their scheduled ride, she tells us to have a seat. Again we’re thinking great we’re going to get to go out and just has to sign in the pre booked people first. Boy were we wrong. Once she finishes up with them she calls us over, the first thing she asks me is ā€œso I have to ask you a personal questionā€ how much do you weigh?ā€ Then proceeds with ā€œmore than 230?ā€ I was completely floored as she asked me this in front of EVERYONE, very loud. I said no I’m no where near that. Then she proceeds to ask us if we are in the area till next week as they are full for trail rides. We said no we are leaving tomorrow. She then tries to tell us we should come back in the fall because the colours are beautiful and goes on and on and on. Also tells us it’s cash only and it’ll be $94. I would normally never write a review about a place but the unprofessional and fat shaming was too much, all we had to be told from the START was that they didn’t have time today, that’s all we wanted to know but instead proceeded to make us wait 15 minutes to humiliate me in front of a group of people. I will never return to this place and I want to warn people so they hopefully don’t have to go through is...

Staff seemed friendly. Seemed courteous. Experience was okay, very mediocre... Walked through the woods for approximately 1 hour. Prices were very steep. Spent $420.00 for 6 people ( 2 adults, 2 young teens, and 2 kids under 7 ) ... $70 / person regardless of age...

WASN'T IMPRESSED when the owner demanded a " tip " for her service. Up until the point that she demanded a tip, the service was OKAY...

Also wasn't impressed with every single staff except 2 Young staff members smoking in and around the horses. A little unprofessional, not to mention our guide burnt one of the horses with the end of her cigarette not paying attention. (( then demanded a tip... lol ))

We won't be returning. There are plenty of horse farms around that are more knowledgeable, more professional , more courteous, and certainly wouldn't...
