The food was creative and yummy the service was great, and the location was awesome. But it's hard to give them five because the beer was absolutely awful. I just can't believe they didn't make one beer that was not hoppy. I guess for the IPA lovers this might be the place for you. For the ones that like anything else whether a crisp lager, refreshing blonde or a strong Belgium, this place doesn't know how to make it and it is a brewery.
Edit: I did think that the people in parson are nice, and then I received an obnoxious passive aggressive responses from the owner, and I have noticed he has been doing this for anyone that is giving him a bad review. so I changed it to 3 and happy to respond to his annoying message. I have bought one pint and then an entire flight of beers. That's five my friend, not 2 like you claim. And even the lightest beer was completely hoppy. I have never seen a brewery that their lightest fruity beer is still hoppy, who does that? Beside some of those so called master brewers that thinks that the Natural taste of beer is what has been historically used to prevent it from spoiling. This is one of the first times that I couldn't finish any of my beers. And considering that you call yourself a brewery, I don't want to drink ciders and wines. I was in wine county, but clearly I came to a brewery which means I came for beers on tap. I love beers, I'm passionate about beers, and yours were not very good, sorry man. You should really get off your high horses. I would have given Parsons another shot, because I thought it just a good chill place, but clearly the owner can't handle feedback. Best of luck.
Edit 2
Defend your Staff and experience? Nah. You are there to defend your ego and Insecurities. Most of your staff probably smacking their forehead, thinking, "Here we go, my boss is at it again, but we can't tell him" the same way that they can't tell you that your beer is awful." Your nonsensical passive-aggressive apology does deserve another star reduced, but I simply feel bad for your wife, who probably can't tell you that your beers and attitude are actually hurting the business while her cooking is the reason why Thousands of people come to your Door.
I know that it is tough to receive criticism from someone who actually understands beer, but you can keep your delusional narcissism and passive-aggressive apologies...
Read moreMy partner and I stopped by Parsons for dinner from our road trip (7:00PM). I decided to make this our dinner spot as my girlfriends and I used to love coming here for lunch and/or dinner. We made reservations earlier on the day as I know it gets busy on the weekends, and I'm glad we did as it got busy. We appreciated the ambiance- the lights, live music, the picnic tables, the decors, the lawn games. We decided to go ahead with not taking part in the service part of the dining experience which meant that servers would not be attending our table throughout the night. We ordered from the booth stand, and then the food was brought over to our table. The food didn't take too long to arrive considering how busy it was. We were very appreciative when a server quickly provided assistance when we realized we forgot to ask for water when we were ordering our foods. We ordered the following:

Read moreSo beautiful, clean, hip, trendy. Such a fun area for kids to play outside. The food was so unreal. Fresh. We ordered the asado for 2, Argentinian dish. So tasty. You could share with 3 people if not that hungry. The guacamole and chips we had to start was amazing but they pile the guacamole right on top of chips so you eat all the guac and then there is all these chips left over. They obviously do it for image. The beer was so refreshing and tasty. However, before I ordered a flight of beer I asked the bartender in the tasting room to sample some IPAs before I ordered a flight and he was super dry and very impersonal in regards to romancing the beer. You would think in a brewery you would hype up the beers, romance the ingredients. Especially because I told him I LOVE IPAs. I have been to many craft breweries all over the world. So many bartenders before you even finish saying IPA they jump to pour you a sample and recommend so many different types. He was a drag. The bathrooms is another situation. My mother had to use an outhouse because there was a huge line for the small bathroom. She said it was awful. Hopefully when they expand they add more restrooms. The service a touch slow as the waitress asked us how our meal was as she cleared the empty plates. All the beers I loved and wanted to buy were sold out. Hopefully they sell at LCBO soon. Those few setbacks, overall a delicious and...
