Have been going for over 20 years, spring and fall. Always loved it even if I wasn’t searching for anything in particular. The last time or two before covid wrecked our world we were so disappointed. It’s just a tiny thing now. Can walk the whole thing in a few hours. Used to take two days. No use camping anymore. Food vendors are greedy as hell. And there’s the same old complaint that there’s WAAAAY too much non car related stuff. I don’t want to buy socks and cell phone covers there. We’re going this weekend and if it’s the same yard sale it will probably be our last year. Not worth the three hour drive to get there. I hope they restore it to its former glory.

UPDATE: I wrote the review 3 yrs ago. We went to the flea market again today to see if there was any improvement. There was none. Drove three hrs to get there. Arrived at noon. Walked the whole thing and were finished at 2:00. Two hrs. Wasn’t much there. Wasn’t worth the trip at all.

UPDATE SEPT 2025: well we decided to give the flea market one more fair shake since this is the fall one and is traditionally larger. So we drove the three hours to check it out. Not worth it. It is no longer the glorious event it used to be. We got there around 10:30 and were finished walking the whole thing by 1:00 and that includes time sitting for a while and have something to drink. The camping fee is $190 if you pay when you get there. So we left the camper at home and took our little car Friday evening and stayed at a hotel in Barrie for the night and went up to the flea market Saturday morning. Saved about $100 (cheaper stay and less gas). They seriously want $190 to camp when you can do the whole thing in 3 hours. All the good old vendors don’t even show up anymore. And the food vendors are as greedy as greedy gets. I sure miss the glory days when we used to go and make a weekend of it, camping and walking through 4 fields of vendors. Now there’s one field. In and out. May go again some day but it will just be a day trip with low expectations instead of an...

Will not go back, the lady at the entrance today when paying to park leaned through the window of my truck while smoking a cigarette and physically snatched the money from inside of my wallet before I could even do it myself. I opened my wallet asked if they took debit out of curiosity and she said "nope but that will work" and grabbed a $50 bill from my wallet herself. Extremely unprofessional, and she was rather rude to me and my girlfriend whenever I said that was not ok. I actually asked for my money back after that and said I was going to leave and was told no too bad. Both of us have no plans of ever returning to this event after today. (Saturday...

This flea market would be best described as a "general" flea market. Aside from being half the size of years ago the bulk of vendors are selling non-auto related goods. I searched through for a full day and say that most likely you will not find the parts you are looking for. I like the way they use pictures from years ago to try to give a sense that this market is still good. Nice try. To costly to attend for what's available. If you are travelling from out of province of worse out of country forget it and save your money. This market is a waste of time and my focus will turn to the many smaller auto flea markets that are held...
