Had a 10 year old have a "party" where we brought 2 of his friends and his sister. I had specifically called ahead of time to ask the management if we should book a party for that few people, he said," not at all we would be fine. It's all the same" so we did not. This was before he put me on hold for ten min to speak with his mechanic...We had a change of plans for one of the guests timing so went over lunch. It did not look like anyone was preparing food in the facility so I asked the employee if it was ok if we went across the street and ordered pizza and came back and ate on the premises at the tables. She said that was fine. We were a bit of the ways into eating when another employee walked from the other buildings much further away that runs the driving range to tell us we couldn't eat our food on the premises and we would have to pay for the garbage for a $5 fee because we would be using their resources? I told her we planned on taking everything with us and her other employee had told us that this was fine which is why we went ahead and brought the pizza in (There is no signage stating otherwise anywhere). She said we needed to pay regardless unless we wanted to leave, so I said no problem, I would come back and pay when we were through which was another 5-10 min anyway. That employee then came back a second time and told us to now LEAVE the premises because that is what MANAGEMENT told her to do. Our group got kicked out after spending $60 to play mini putt. They kicked kids out and put a damper on our day. It was a very odd and off-putting experience. We are owed an apology for mixed messages from the management itself and the employee at the driving range for being treated so poorly. I am in service and would never treat paying customers like that, besides the fact the employees were not wearing masks(Covid protocol) at any point in service or to come and speak with us. They should also put some of the funds into fixing the damage on the course and masks and proper covid cleaning/protocol for their employees. This was our first and last visit to this establishment. Will not be spending my money here in the future or recommending to friends or family. Will be speaking with...
Read moreHey gang! Took the little siblings to what I thought would be a paradise away from home. Turns out we were signing up for more than just sub par putting and Gatorade colored fountains. At the end of our 18 hole journey, one of us (myself) sunk a hole in one on the bombastic, overly incentivized animatronic nightmare of a scene. My excitement was upended by a careworn staff member who had the attitude of a pack of unfiltered cigarettes. She approached us with the intention to shoot first and ask questions later. She accused my dear lil sis of intentionally cheating the system when all she had done was cheekily toss the ball into the dynamite themed repository. She claimed her ubiquitous fisher price security cameras captured everything, but when I looked at the footage on her phone for proof, all I saw were unsigned divorce papers, and coupons for licorice ham (jokes jokes). On a serious note, we did not appreciate the bullish attitude and lack of patience with regard to this sad interaction. All of my siblings felt…sad, and my little brother of 12 years (who does not tell a lie no, sir!) experienced a micro trauma when trying to defend his siblings in a baffling, one-sided conversation. The simple joy of putting holes during springtime was spoiled by DARKNESS 😯
In the end, we realized we were not being heard or understood in any capacity, so we amicably handed the staff the prize ticket and went our separate ways. She insulted us on the way out, which was both thoughtful and challenging? Would love to know what I would have won with my prize ticket. I was planning on giving it to my brother, who is 12 years of age and hadn't smiled since his open heart surgery. Praise be to God he's ok!
Next time I'm in town with my sweet siblings, I would like some ice-cream on the house (vanilla, if not chocolate, if not Rocky road, if not, my money back in...
Read moreWent here at 8pm on Sunday, website and google states that it closes at 10. When we paid hardly a word was said by the highschool girl at the cash. At 9pm the same girl came out and told us they close at 930. We told her that the website says 10 and we were only half way through and that we wouldn’t have started if we knew that they had shorter hours. She stated that because school started they were cutting back on hours. We asked if we could come back some other time and she stated yes we could get a rain check for another game. She came back and told us that the owner denied getting a rain check. At 930 the “owner” came out and let us know that they were closed and asked if we wanted to do the last hole, when we replied we would rather play every hole, the owner than stated that they closed at 9 not 930 or 10 and that she was being nice by letting us stay late. I let her know that her website was wrong, and her own employee told us 930. She told us that most people only take an hour to play miniput (didn’t know there was a time limit for mini put). When finishing the last hole the owner Tracy stood at the door and talked about us while we finished. Do your self a favour and go to mini put gardens near huntclub they have longer hours double the holes and a punch card to get free games. I’ve been coming here since they opened will not be back with...
