The pure tranquility and beauty of this place is absolutely breathtaking.
The gravel road leading to the parking lot is drivable for larger SUVs or pickups. Once you reach the parking lot (there are no signs but a few larger rocks blocking the path), it’s about a 3 km return hike from the parking to the tip of the cape where you will find unique rock formations, pools, rare arctic plants and amazing view. It was chilly when we visited in early July, so I would recommend bringing warm wind resisting clothing. With that being said, we did park and were able to get some amazing pictures of the local flora such as bog rosemary, orchids, and mountain avens. I love this place and will be back with four wheel drive. Definitely check it out if you're in the area, just tread carefully around these rare and...
