Beautiful location. Great spot for family or late evening beach adventures with friends. Water is cold for swimming but on a hot day it's wonderful. I love the soft sand, and it's a great spot to take the dogs for a walk. Also if you have kids there are loads of treasures to find- from cool rocks to shells and drift wood for arts and crafts.

Large beach, salt water, little rocky best at low tide. Mud flats, rocks to climb if your adventurous, full of natural beauty. The water IS safe to swim in but theres no lifegaurd at this beach and i dont think there ever has benn. Sea shells, sea glass and periwinkles a mini nature escape in the city of saint john

It's a local hidden gem. Was working close by the other day. There must have been 15 cars there with people walking the beach with their pets and kids. It would we cool to have a lot there for people to park.

Neat beach on the west side of Saint John, minutes from the city center, right on the Bay of Fundy. Great views of Patridge Island from here. There is no cost to visit. There is parking along Sea Street and an easy walk. Great spot to visit following storms from the North East. Please don't leave any garbage on the beach; take it with you when you leave. City recently did some work to the small parking area in the Fall of 2024 and repaired the wood steps leading to the beach. It remains a popular gathering spot...

Bayshore Beach, Saint John: There is a clear sign before entering on to the beach that dogs are to be leashed. I had a bad experience with a dog owner that had her dog off leash, I had to shout to her to get her dog leashed a few times as it was out of her control, she became belligerent and threatening, coming towards me with her dog. There are a number of people with unleashed dogs on this beach, not everyone wants this experience. It's a bad...

Favourite beach in the city limits. No bathrooms, no changing rooms and the parking lot is no good. But it’s a good spot for the dogs to run (says they need to be on leash, rarely do I see any leashes). Can see partridge island, a few old bunkers around the cliffs at the beach. Quite a large beach at low tide, there’s a rocky side and a...
