Fourteen of us stayed here while attending a family wedding in the area and all of us enjoyed our immaculately clean rooms, great food, fun times at the casino and the great service of the staff. This place exceeded my expectations. I was a little hesitant about staying here when I first saw the place and walked in the door - only because there was a bit of a smoky smell, but honestly, that smell does not carry into the rooms. The staff here are wonderful - whether it's the front desk staff, the casino staff, or the restaurant staff. All deliver top notch service with a smile! My husband and I stayed in an Executive King suite - huge Jacuzzi top, free bottled water, mini fridge, microwave, great sitting area to accommodate all of our family when we were between activities. And the bed...comfy with huge fluffy pillows. Very quiet rooms. All fourteen of us had dinner and breakfast at Growlers and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Portions are huge. Everyone commented on how great the food was. Better than expected quality.||Then there is the Sunday Brunch - with the Skyline out of business, the Bear Claw is your go to place for Brunch. So, bear claw had asked me to do a presentation for them during their Christmas staff party. I arrived around 5 pm. From the second I arrived, I was treating like a prince even before I told them who I was and checked into my room. The staff was very knowledgeable. Very kind, I was dressed like a bum lol but they were very kind and very accommodating. I ended up being snowed in roads too bad to travel. They upgraded my room free of charge. The restaurant was absolutely delicious and the service was insanely quick !

After I had enjoyed the casino I went to gamble and the staff again was very accommodating.

I travel all over the country of Canada 🇨🇦 and no casino and hotel has ever treated me better than the bear claws casino! I would recommend them ten days a week!

The thing is I’m an average guy middle of no where I’m not dressed in a suit I don’t have a clean shave, my clothes have stains on them. To be treated like royalty the moment I stepped in, amazing. I don’t even feel bad for losing 1k at the casino best two...

I am giving this review two stars simply because the rooms were decent apart from a couple of things. Firstly, the water. The water was so brown. I ran myself a bath and the tub water was gross looking. I didn't take a picture of the water itself but I have a picture of a rag that was soaked in the water compared to a clean rag. The water is also unsafe for consumption. I didn't notice the small sign on the mirror until after I was brushing my teeth and used the water for rinsing. I believe the rooms may have been getting renovations also but I'm not for sure... Our room had no baseboards. Overall if these problems were not present it would be a great place to stay.
