Picked up 3 pounds of mussels today and cooked them for dinner at our campsite. The friendly guy there thought 5 pounds for a meal for 2 but I could eat them forever! He suggested white wine, butter and Montreal steak spice and make sure the pan was really hot before adding the mussels. we used a Dutch oven on our volcano grill, seafood spice mix, margarine and a little water as that is what we have with us. I can't speak for the other seafood outlets in PEI because most of them were closed when I visited in October, but I can't imagine any of them beating this place. We bought 5 pounds of small choice oysters here yesterday. For about 30 bucks we got over 3 dozen nice oysters, and they were tasty. My major gripe with this place is that you cannot see what you are buying until they bring them out from the back right before you pay.
