Great free activity when visiting St. John's. Approx 10 to 15 minute drive from the city. Parking available close to the lighthouse free of charge. There is limited areas that are wheelchair accessible. Hiking trail runs along the coast. The historic lighthouse (not one currently in use) charges a fee to get in. Level parking just outside the parks entrance which faces the ocean and appears to be good for those going the van life route. Stairs are of lower height but have no handrails. Proper footwear for walking gravel paths and uneven surface is recommended. Early morning is good for limited people.
