Hayward's — Local services in St. John's

I love this store! Their bright showroom and in house inventory is fabulous! So many beautiful, fun, stylish, quality pieces, and the store has an easy, welcoming vibe. Family owned and operated with long time staff who aren’t Haywards but who seem like part of their family. Customer service is always superior! This includes their knowledge of all decor trends, enduring designs, products, materials, manufacturers, and how to build relationships with clients, even if it’s a one time sale, no matter how small or large. They don’t hover or crowd you while you browse either. They really do put the customer first and can pride themselves for helping clients select quality pieces that fit and suit their spaces and that they will love. Their pricing is competitive too. I made the mistake of buying a piece on a well-known, popular site that was advertised as on sale and was affordable. It was delivered to my door and I assembled it. I later realized that could have bought the exact same piece locally AT HAYWARDS at a much lower price and it would have been delivered to me assembled. I should have known better. Support local! Hayward's will always be our choice when looking for furniture. The Staff are warm, friendly and patient. A shout out to Robin, Daina and the warehouse guys. The selection is unequalled and the QUALITY is heads and above anywhere else we have looked. We are not from St. John's and made the 4 hour trip to Haywards after purchasing a cheap sectional at a "chain-store" that turned out to be sub-standard. Rather than living with a piece we would never be happy with we found a very affordable and absolutely beautiful sectional at Haywards. The Warehouse guys wrapped it up and we loaded it in my brothers truck and we made it home in a rainstorm without getting a drop of water on it. We cannot say enough about how pleased we are with the new sectional and with the price and the way Haywards treated us. Please take our advice and make this store your FIRST stop... it will be...

The delivery gentleman were just that- gentle and kind. They even removed their footwear when they came in the house! Impressive!
