This place would get 0 stars if that were an option! They have to be the worst possible place to buy anything. I purchased a $5000 couch from here which the sales person gave me a delivery date for, the day came and I had my old couch removed so I would have room for the new one, the new one never came. I called the store only to be told there was a 2 week delay and the sales person was supposed to call and tell me. That never happened. Fast forward it comes but 1 piece is still missing and on back order so I wait a week and a half the delivery email says it’s on the way and to track it. It never came, I called the store the driver said no one was home. It was a “snow day” and I was home the entire day. I was offered a partial refund to which 3 weeks later I still have not received. This store has to have the most incompetent staff I’ve ever seen in my life. I will NEVER purchase anything from this place ever again.
We purchased a fridge and stove at the brick last sept. There were numerous issues with the stove delivery. We were contacted that is was ready to be picked up and when we got there is was lost. Now 6 month later it stopped working. We purchased a $500 extended warranty that supposedly gave a loner. The apt to have it serviced is 10 days away. But there is no loaner. And I was told the Newfoundland store doesn’t have loaners because it’s so hard to deliver here and salespeople shouldn’t be selling that aspect of the extended warranty.
I would caution anyone against buying from a mainland company like The Brick, you’re much better off buying from local companies where you’re going to get local service and decision made here locally.
Bought all my appliances at The Brick, good customer experience with the store and the staff at The Brick. The LG propane range I bought had a defective oven burner, would not cook the food properly, so I contacted The Brick. They supplied the number for LG Company. I called LG on this problem. They could not find a technician to service the stove, they issued a store credit or replacement. The sales person I dealt with at the store is Murray Smith, he was excellent at helping me to locate a good replacement. He spent a significant amount of time seeking the best option for me,ensuring that I walked out of the store satisfied with his service, with a viable stove replacement.
