They were AWESOME!!!

We had to leave our two kittens (they were 11 months old) for 2 months!!!! We were moving from Ottawa to Victoria and in between we had to leave the country. We were so worried but we had to! When I saw Cat’s meow inn’s place, I fell in love with it. But still.. leaving your two fur babies? For two months? They’re not going to forgive us :( Long story short.. it turns out they had great time, they weren’t even a bit angry with us, they didn’t give us the silent treatment (or any kind of bad reaction), they were just happy to see us (I had 2 cats before these ones and a dog and I had to leave them from time to time, you can feel when they were happy or sad. These ones.. it was as if they had the greatest time of all, their own vacation and they were perfectly healthy and fantastically taken care of. Cassandra and Dave putting their pictures on their facebook page often was another great touch. I don’t want to ever leave them but in case I will have too, I would fly all the way from Victoria to Ottawa for them to stay in this beautiful place with these beautiful people.

We are so fortunate to have “found” this incredible place. Our 17 year old cat was diagnosed with diabetes several years ago and while we’ve had friends who have generously looked after him in the past while we travelled, most of them have retired and are travelling as well. Danny spent the first two weeks of June at the Inn. He was loved and petted by Cassandra and David (and assistant Sherry) and we felt secure knowing his insulin was administered every day. I wish we could give ten or more stars for the Cat’s Meow Inn for their diligence in ensuring every resident has up-to-date vaccinations, a veterinary contact and personal contact information. Even though we were out of Canada we knew either Cassandra or David would be in touch if required. And the fact that they live next to the Inn was an added comfort....

There is no way to properly explain on how our cat is so pampered by Cassandra and David every time we board her at their location. My cat even knows when we are going there. She will complain in the car all to way to Perth and then it strikes her on where we are heading and stops. Now just when you think they could not make the experience any better, they are now offering a grooming service. We have been using this service at least once a year. The pictures of her purring while getting her bath is precious. My cat comes home now with less loose hairs and her coat is so shiny. If you have not used this service yet, I highly recommended it.
