Fox Meadow Golf Course — Local services in Town of Stratford

I had a tee time on Mon. I set the GPS to the golf course. But they built a new rotary. So mess up on the GPS a little bit. Which is fine. Got into the pro shop 8 min early before my tee time. She gave me a slip but never told me had to show it to the starter. So was the lineup at the first hole. I was in line for 2 min. Tell. someone. showed them that slip. so went up to the starter.show mine. He said ur the one mess up all.our starts time. At that time was 8:28.. He was very rude. I said only me playing anyway. He goes will ur group. already down the fairway. I like ok. He told.drive down to meet them. Like what. I said can I hit first than.drive down. He like. nope ur late which I wasn't. they started early. I won't recommend anyone to play there. Especially...

Fox Meadow is a beautiful 18 hole, par 72 golf course and practice facility in Stratford. We played on a beautiful sunny July day. The course was in immaculate condition. We were all really impressed. The facilities are beautiful.

Green fees were pretty reasonable (50) since we were golfing with a member and club rentals were 35 + tax.

The greens were running really fast but I like it that way. The course is challenging but fairly open - you'll only find bad trouble if your course management skills aren't up to snuff.

All in all we had a great time and will definitely return. This is one of the Island's best courses and deserves a visit from any serious golfer...

Played this morning with relatives from the U.S. Course was in great shape but our round was ruined by regulars who were constantly pushing the pace. On 10 as the last member of our group was teeing off, the group behind laterally drove their cart on the side of the teebox and informed us they were playing thru.They hit and then went back to pick up their 3rd who was walking and returned 2 minutes later. We were by no means playing slow as we finished well under 4 hours. These guys were all 60...
