USE A CREDIT CARD FOR ALL PURCHASES, as they won't refund your deposit, purchases that don't come in or cancellations. Deposits are $140 per person for "Arrive and Drive" and with 1,500 participating, that's potentially $210,000 they withhold from customers. So this place is a bit of a scam. I had to go though MasterCard to get my deposit refunded. My friends who paid cash weren't so lucky.... Signed up for a season of "Arrive and Drive" where my friends and I would race every 2 weeks. Each event you get 2 practices, 1 qualifying and 1 race on track, for about 17 timed 40s laps per weekend. So you only really spend 10-15 minutes on track....for $70. Other go kart companies give set 40 minutes of track for the same price (Not measured by laps). The karts are inconsistant. Kart #80 was noticeably slower than the rest and it would come in last regardless of who drove it, and #71 was almost always the winning kart. Karts would break during the event, but because they are understaffed, often then wouldn't fix them, so if you got kart #80, you basically lap 1-2s slower and come last regardless of skill. Unlike other companies (look east) they don't make an effort to have the cars perform similarly. Throughout the season they are pretty decent at replying to emails about date changes, but when it's time to get refunded for deposits or cancellations they just straight up GHOST you. A friend bought gloves that never came in, and they just kept telling him "It will be in next week" or "I have a pair upstairs, come back in 30 minutes and I'll have them out for you." He never got the gloves or the money back for them. To add to how shady this business is, they offer two stroke go karts for a higher price, but purposly leave out important information. They tell you that there will be multiple time slots to choose from and that you get to race in "the summer, somewhere mid season." However, the actual event is mid/late October, when it's far too cold to get any actual performance out the faster karts. The "multiple time slots" are 1-3pm or 4-6pm on two specific Monday and Wednesdays. So if you can only race on weekends, or are busy that specific week, you are out of luck. Also the stewarting is inconsistent. They hire teenagers to marshal the races, which is fine, but when accidents happen they often don't pay attention. The manager never does anything about it, and is almost never trackside. At other locations, they will restart races when there is a multi car pileup and kick out anyone who drives recklessly. At GoodWood, nothing. If your belt snaps, or only 2 people are even able to race after a multi car pileup, that's what you paid for.... Long review, but basically buyer beware. Goodwood is the worst of the locations for the "Arrive and Drive" program, but......if it's your only option and you buy with a credit card, it's an ok experience. I included photos of the 6pm event time in October to show you what you get for two strokes.

My recent visit to Goodwood Kartway left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this place was not up to par. The karts were outdated and poorly maintained, my kart was sputtering along the track, the stirring wheel was completely rusted out. This not only dampened the excitement but also raised safety concerns. The service was equally disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, providing minimal assistance or guidance. It was as if they were simply going through the motions without any passion for customer satisfaction. To add to this poor experience, the prices were not reflective of the experience offered. For the amount charged, one would expect a thrilling and seamless karting experience, but sadly, that was far from reality. Overall, my experience at Goodwood Kartway was a letdown. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable and safe go-karting adventure. It’s a shame because with proper management and investment in quality equipment and customer service, this place could potentially offer so much more.

Very disappointed with this place and experience in its totality. We will not be returning and suggest others don’t either. My daughter, her friend and I, went to this place yesterday for the first time. Needless to say, we will never return to this place again either, a complete waste of money and time. I echo several of the reviews on this page. There was a driver on the track before all us, and several others arrived for the public go karting, which we called ahead for (female who answered the phone on our inquiry was rude, dismissive and short); but the owner permitted this driver to remain on the track (Arrive and Drive) as long as he wished to. Not once, were we told, from the time we arrived, that there was any sort of a wait, neither were we informed of any wait times, when we first called the place either. A few minutes wait, is not a problem. 45 minutes later, and some other patrons even going the extra mile to have a reservation, was not acceptable. After 45 minutes, all the young guy could tell us all, is that he had no idea, when we would be permitted on the track. The other driver continued to occupy the track as authorized by the owner. As the line continued to grow longer, and everyone’s patience continued to wear thin with the wait for time for the tract, the poor young guy who appeared to be the only one running the show, continued to apologize for what was happening. He reiterated several times that he had no say in what was happening, only that the owner permitted it. When it came time to get on the track, everyone was informed that they only had a handful of go karts that were working, as the remainder of them were broken, and only 2 double seated go karts were also available, same reason applied. The go karts were very old, did not appear to be well maintained at all, and very slow. There was no way those karts were going 30-32 km/hr, as advertised. My daughter told me that a leg pad support on her car, was broken, leaving a bruise on the side of her leg from the vibration of the kart. Her friend told me that his seat was broken, and therefore moving around/sliding while he was driving it. Needless to say, we were happy to get off the track and leave. We decided to stop off at the washrooms before leaving, however they were absolutely disgusting and opted to not use them. Overall a very unpleasant experience, and we will never return to this karting place again. We will stay with our prior place, Innisfil Indy Karting. Please consider going elsewhere, before wasting your time and money...

INCOMPETENCE. It is the second time in my life I have felt compelled to write a commercial review. We had a family outing arranged weeks in advance for 6 family member to be on the track at the same time in the same type karts, for 30minutes of on track experience. We accepted price and arranged requirements in advance. We arrived 30 minutes early for our appointed time, and were invited to race earlier than our 11:05 start time. Immediately , the track staff tried to substitute 1 of 6 karts stating that did not have enough karts, we explained the negotiated and agreed requirements of our booking, when pressed, the staff were able to find a 6th kart to honour the terms of booking. This 6th kart was abysmally slow. I 'm 210lbs and was lapped embarrassingly by every adult on the track, often within the same lap! I asked for a another cart and was ignored, I amplified my instructions to the sullen 20 year old in charge of karts. I was given a 2 seater, better performing kart than that which I had been in, and headed out to join my family. 3 laps into using this new kart I am directed off track to PIT and told I have to give my kart to the next group, while my family continues in our booked race time. I explained that that was not happening, that the organization had made a commitment to our booking and that they could have the kart when I was done or send some one with management authority out, stop the clock on our entire booking, and be prepared to negotiate all of us starting over.

I only chose this company because of its racing association,. The location was inconvenient to me. I assumed, incorrectly, that its association with organized racing would elevate the experience from that of carnival sideshow. Clearly I was wrong. Our booking was planned and agreed to in advance.

They are incompetent or dishonest as they failed to fulfill the terms of our agreement. I will not attend their track again and felt compelled to...
