The customer service is exceptional. Old school customer service. The staff treat their customers like family. They remember the important little details and never miss the chance to make their tiniest customers feels special. As a Mum of four this means so much to me. My kids love it there so much! It is one of the only places to find Maileg mice in the Interior of BC! I am a forever fan of their infamous fleece! I own the fleece housecoat style and it is perfect for cozy winter nights and brisk dog walks. I also have their CBC fleece and it is perfect to pop over my baby carrier for winter walks. Keeps my baby and I very cozy. This is the place to go if you love nature, Canadianna and timeless pieces. Their vintage section is also amazing and I covet so many of their pieces. We have family members who live out of Province and order gifts for our kids for birthdays and Christmas from Birch Hill. It is so convenient to be able to pick up my order so quickly. I love that I can find so many treasures locally. The store is beautifully curated with stunning views of Vernon. As the operator of a local non profit for kids with disabilities, I rely heavily on the generosity of others so that I can ensure our member families can enjoy our services at no charge. When Sierra offered her support to our group by way of donated clothing to GIRLS CLUB, I had no idea the extent her kindness would reach. Not only did Sierra donate a children's fleece or jacket for every single child in our group, she did so with zero expectation of anything in return. I used to respect this business, but the owner has made it clear that professionalism doesn’t matter here. Instead of focusing on customers and community, she uses her business platform to mock people who have died and to push her own political agenda. That’s not leadership, that’s immaturity.

What’s worse is how she responds to criticism — with arrogance, excuses, and zero accountability. A business owner who can’t separate personal politics from their professional presence shows a complete lack of respect for customers with diverse views.
