Went to the Marshville Heritage Festival today (Labour Day, 2025) I was impressed by the quality of the displays & the knowledgeable volunteers. Definitely learned a thing or two. All volunteers were friendly and helpful. It was nice to see most of them dressed in period costumes. Definitely worth a visit. The $8 entry fee is reasonable.

If you are looking for a place to dive into early 1900s, then this is a good place for you. The admission fee is reasonable given the historical items on display. Old steam and diesel engines, school, post office, carpentry, surveyor's office, you name it. Kids also have fun when they can enjoy the express train and old cars.

Quaint little festival. Enjoyed all the old machines. Also a lot of craft vendors. Antique cars, motorcycle and tractors

$8 per person entry fee for Marshville "festival!! Absolutely ridiculous considering Grape and Wine is free, Canal Days = free, Fonthill Summerfest = free, Super Crawl Hamilton = free .. you've got the picture.

If there was some entertainment, sure, I can understand, but $8 to walk around...nope! This will be our last year attending, sadly the greed has taken over! Also, if you care to enjoy apple cider with your lunch, bring your own small cup...they will not provide cups unless you purchase a single cup of cider! You can, however purchase a Dixie cup for $.25 each....strange business practice.

I highly recommend saving your hard earned money!

Oh, and most venders will not take debit ONLY...

This was something I looked forward to for years and have gone every year religiously. It started out with so many great vendors and entertainment for 5 dollars entry, however, now there are way less vendors and the price is very high for what little there is now. With two teens who have special needs, it is too high a price for what there is for them to enjoy there. Over 30 dollars for literally 45 minutes there. This will be the first year we will not attend in years. It will...

Was a fun day. Went with my daughter and girlfriend. Not as much to see as when I was young and remembered going. But things change as is life. The booths made me feel as if I were in a metropolitan area as the pricing was absorbent. Had been to local events in all of Haldimand, Norfolk and Niagara and none of the booths were as exspensive with their merchandise. The food was enjoyable and the cart ride to and from the parking area very welcome and conducted by the...
