Shoppers beware âŚ..this store has no customer service whatsoever reading previous reviews this liquidation place should be closed. The owner Kaylee should not be working in a retail store and needs a new career . I was so upset with my experience with her over dishes yes plates she thinks she owns a royal doulton store. If you are shopping there apparently you have to read the signs around the store about there so called policies if you miss these you may have to confront Kaylee which you will not want to do. The situation I had was starting with my husband and daughter innocently purchasing two boxes of Denby dishes which warning donât buy from this place they were at the checkout and the cashier opened the box that was opened before looked thru it and claimed okay (her story at the time). At the car in the parking lot I was and opened both boxes glad I did the one the cashier looked on 80% chipped and broken other box perfect..hmmm so into the store I go with my witness my daughter and confronted the cashier she claims once you leave they are yours we never left the lot within minutes I went back in so the owner beside her heard and said thatâs our policy but that was the box the cashier has actually looked in which she thought was okay my daughter confirmed so the owner was saying if we have another box switch the broken ones but charge them a cost of plates I had to sort out all the broken ones and they took a long time to bring the box and do the switch once done the cashier who changes her story and said she only opened the box and looked inside although my daughter witnessed her earlier actually touching them. She states she doesnât have to look and told my husband you can check he saw her do it and trusted her. The cashier got the owner back and she says so total count of replaced plates to charge me we argued and almost had me in tears and I said well we are not shopping here anymore and she says thatâs FINE..omg no compassion at all .    Read moreRidiculous policy of no exchanges even when the store is completely at fault. Purchased KING size sheet set very end of day as lights turned off in store and people rushing to checkout. Asked at checkout if contents would all be there and itâs correct product in package. Was assured they double check everything. Got home and decided to ensure they fit my king mattress before washing. They didnât. They are QUEEN! I donât have a queen mattress. Store was now closed but opening again next morning at 11am. Called first thing to make sure they would exchange them as there was one more set in-store that I saw. Was told by manager cannot exchange. Said owner would be in touch. I asked if theyâd just put the other set aside and I could come anytime to exchange for correct size (pending that one WAS NOT ALSO LABELLED INCORRECTLY). Told she cannot do that since store just opened and itâs too busy for her to go retrieve that set for me. She was very rude. Owner did not get in touch with me by two weeks later, so I emailed the store. Owner got back saying nothing can be done but perhaps I can put them for sale on marketplace. I cannot fathom how horrible this type of customer service is when the store made the error. In thinking more about it, realized they can easily write the higher value item on âanythingâ really in order to obtain a higher price and I believe thatâs exactly what happened here (queen set versus king set which is quite a difference price wise). Scammers. Will never return there and have made sure to advise everyone I know in Wilmot area of my experience (who vow to never shop there again either).    Read moreI love this store and the people who work there. I have been shopping there (and their former location) for years. I buy great products for amazing prices and really enjoy the deals I walk away with. And when I need help, staff is always ready and willing to help me to my car with heavy or awkward items. For anyone who has had an issue, please take the following into consideration:
Issue: You find the item cheaper somewhere else. Solution: Before you buy it, check for price comparisons online. I do that often so I know if it's a great deal or not. Have those links bookmarked on your phone to make checking fast and easy. And check Costco pricing too as sometimes it can be less and you can return the item.
Issue: What is in the box is different than the package or item doesn't work or wrong size. Solution: Realize they are a liquidation store and this can happen unfortunately, but they don't do it deliberately. They also post signs informing customers to check before buying as no refunds or exchanges are allowed. Check the box and the contents thoroughly before you buy. Plug in the item to see if it is operational. Look for dents, permanent marker pricing or scratches. Check shoe sizes or the clothing item to make sure the size matches the box or hanger.
Issue: It is too busy and the customers are pushy. Solution: Keep kids at home as excited shoppers will not see them (especially sale days or after holidays). Try to go after the morning rush if you want to enjoy the experience and not wait in line. Saturdays are slower than Fridays. People are there to grab and buy in the morning, so know what you are walking into.
Issue: Felt rushed and don't like what you bought or the item doesn't fit. Solution: Sell on Facebook Marketplace/Buy and Sell Groups or Kijiji and make your money back or even a profit.
