West Bay Cottages — Local services in West Nipissing

Our group rented a couple cottages and a pontoon boat from Nikki and Chris at West Bay Cottages for 3 days the 3rd week in June 2024. We had an excellent time enjoying the clean and fully equipped cottages, as well as the well maintained boat. The fishing is good with a variety of fish. There’s plenty of Northern Pike, jumbo perch, pickerel, bass, and the mobster musky that got away!! Nikki and Chris are fabulous hosts who allow you your privacy and quiet time, but are always available when needed. They stock and sell everything from fishing lures to firewood for your pleasure and comfort. The boats are topped up with a full tank of gas each night so you never have to worry about running out, and they charge a very reasonable fee for the gas used at the conclusion of your vacation. We even had a refreshing dip in the shallow water just off the dock! We’re all back at home now with our families, but we will be back to visit Nikki and Chris...

Wow! Just wanted to get away and found this little gem. Under New Owner ship, just a week ago. Chris and Nikki, are doing a fantastic job. Super clean cabins, fully stalked with cooking tools and tv but there is only a fire stick, you need a prime or Netflix account. Not an issue, i do! Brand new BBQ. Fish cleaning hunt, free kayak and canoes. There are pontoons to rent, which really was a nice ride last night. Every room in the cabins have ceiling fans, huge bonus. I was lucky enough to see the big cabin that sleeps lots with 3 bedrooms. There are hook ups for RV as well. Restaurant and variety store near buy. Only 40 mins from Northbay, reasonable rates. The views from Lake Nipissing area breathtaking. Small resort which I love. 5 cabins and a "clamping cabin", room with beds. Things will need some updating but this couple will have no problems getting this place where it needs to be. Im excited for them in the future. Call and book, you...
