So rude! Go across the street to the nicer site! We stayed here for months while we waited to get into our house. First, our truck got vandalized. She overcharged my husband for our stay and told him that he could afford it because "he makes good money at the Gold Mine". She felt it was justified because she is losing so much money from the pandemic. Bizzare! He works hard. She is not entitled to charge us more just because she knows where he works!

We had to pay for water hook ups for days we didn't even have water service! she shut the water off early, with only 1 hour notice! We were told we would be given at least a weeks notice. So I had to live without water for 2 weeks while I waited to get into my house, after giving them business for three months straight! The park across the street didn't shut off their water and it wasn't even cold temperatures yet! I couldn't move the trailer because my spouse was at camp, so it put me in a tough spot. They also say they give internet but will only give you a few slips at a time and never give you the full amount you are entitled to when camping. When I went to get the rest of my internet slips they told me I used them all up when I hadn't even used half. But apparently they keep "track of this".

When my husband complained about overcharging us and the service she scoffed at him and said very sarcastically "enjoy your fancy new...

This is a large (100+ sites) just off (and parallel with) the Alaskan highway (noise), and just outside of town. Not unlike most RV parks in this neck of the woods, this is mostly a gravel parking lot with full hookups. The “Buddy Sites” are close together, but the mostly pull through spots are long enough for whatever you bring - they also have an upper level (treed) with back in sites with water & electric. They have many amenities that should garner a 4.5 - 5 star rating, but the lack of usable power was very frustrating. Our surge protector (happy to have had it) kicked out for low voltage so often that at times it was not useable - many times we had to use our generator just to use anything (we are not a very large RV). Good cable tv (analog), a big sky for satellite, and their included WiFi was mostly good almost always providing a signal that was useful - cell service was good. They have a petrol station, an RV wash, a pet wash, and a laundry. This is popular with the many caravan groups that pass by (although some of the leaders I spoke with are also frustrated with their...

We would like to commend this campground. We went from Arctic Ocean with the our RV needs some welding or we cannot go back to Alberta. No available services in town as a lot in queue for repairs from different clients. Ms. Hannah tried her best to find us a solution and was able to find a welding machine, my husband is a welder and we were able to fix the rv, offered us a place to do the work without any hesitation to help. Thank you so much to everyone there who assisted us. They are also accommodating from our very first stop when we're on the way to Arctic Ocean, helped us to find a comfortable slot as my husband is a newbie in towing an RV. We also bought lots of souvenirs, they have the cheapest price from all the shops we walked in from whitehorse to the Arctic. Good prices and outstanding customer service. They have almost everything you need: gas, car wash, site options, and almost all merchandise available in the shop.Highly recommended and we will definitely return to this...

From the get-go, the lady at the front desk was difficult to say the least. She tried to give us 15 amp when we were specifically told we would have at least have 30amp. We were given site 125 and we lost power at the pedestal about 8pm when other campers around us returned to the park. We have a hefty surge protector that was telling us that the power course was not safe. My ride went to talk to the lady at the front desk and she was horrible. She just said you can leave and she would give a full refund. AT 8PM AT NIGHT! She wouldn’t have anyone look at it and was quite rude. We had boondocked the last week and wanted power to reboot for one night but unfortunately we didn’t have any power and to top it off the lady also lied about having a working dump station. This was the worst campground experience so far o our journey from Arizona to Ak. I would rate this place a -10 if I could.

All the pictures make this place look like there were trees and beautiful camping sites. We were in a gravel, dusty parking lot with little room between neighbors. Location was convenient, with easy in and out. It was also nice to be able to fill up with fuel at the campground before we pulled out. Whitehorse is a good stop to get supplies and the downtown area is worth a visit. Farmers market was fun, and the bike trails were good. Miles Canyon was the highlight of the area for me. It’s just up the road from the campground.

The sites with full hookups are in a dirt/gravel parking lot. The spaces were very narrow - trailers were really packed in. We only had a 20’ trailer and were barely able to open our slide. Length was no problem, and there are lots of pull throughs. Convenient washers & dryers in large laundry, fuel, diesel and propane conveniently onsite. The slanted sewer openings work better if you have a fitting that inserts.
