Read moreOne of the leading fashion academia institutions in China. Unfortunately, the institute is not open to the public, but there is an excellent Ethnic Fashion Museum and many exhibitions organized by the academic and the students. We were so lucky to have the chance to visit the Ethnic Fashion Museum inside the institute. They have a wide collection and research on the minority ethnic group in China and very detailed recording on the fashion heritage of the ethnic groups. Many of the minority ethnic do not have their own written words, so the woven fabric of their traditional mitos and value has embedded into their textile, wares etc. to continue the legacy of their traditional. It is indeed an eye opening for me and the collection is impressive. The institute even has a material research lab to conduct the research on textile materials for the future. If you are interested in continuing your study or research into the fashion industry, this could be one of the best available academy institutions for you to...
