詩名：大城石澗 大山內裏一條溪，城下溪水天上來。 石藏深山水之源，澗水涓涓繞山流。 這首詩描述：大城石澗是香港新九大石澗之一，位置在新界大帽山水系列其中之一，主要水源是來自大帽山(957米)的群峰，包括有禾秧山(767米)及 四方山(784米)等的溪水，流入城門水塘。石澗由山上的高峰，流入山下的深谷內。在大帽山的東南部，可分為三條主要的石澗，包括有大城石澗，大圓石澗及大曹石澗，大城石澗之中有很多瀑布和水潭，包括有王母瀑布，杜鵑潭、楓葉潭及龍泉谷等，石澗長度(大約2.5公里)，沿途山明水秀，風光明媚及景色優美，而且也可以欣賞到溪澗周圍的大石，而在夏天都有很多人在這裏嬉水，其實大城石澗都有一些陷阱，每隔幾年都會有幾宗意外在這裏發生，甚至有傷亡，大家請勿在此嬉水及游泳，意外才不會發生，還要保持環境清潔，勿亂拋垃圾，大城石澗才會保存下去。
