I quite like the route from Shui Chun O to Shatin Pass because it is not that crowded even during the weekends. And it is short. It only takes about 1-1.5 hrs one way, so even if you do it in the late afternoon, you still have time to enjoy some comfort food from the afternoon tea menu, and join dinner in other district!
