Florentia Village No.4 Gate — Local services in Shanghai

Visited Florential Village Premium Outlets on the 3 Dec 24. Poor customer service by the few ladies at the counter. Many of the customers couldn’t get VAT refund due to their connection issue. Instead of providing us with a more palatable solution, the lady serving us simply informed us that (1) there was nothing they can do, (2) if we are not in the rush, we can wait though they cannot guarantee that the issue will be resolved anytime soon. This is despite us overhearing another colleague informing her that the issue will only be resolved the next day, (3) if we need the VAT refund, can come back again on other day to process it despite noting that we do not stay near the premium outlet. This incident totally spoilt our overall experience...

Not a bad place to shop. Seriously was better and bigger than I expected. Spent the whole morning there before heading to the airport. Was able to get onto the free shuttle bus a stop before the Pudong airport. Lugged my luggage to the premium outlets and there was this customer service where you can deposit your luggage for free! The Nike and Adidas store here was really crazy and filled with people. The only thing I didn't do was to explore the upper floor as it looked rather empty. Also was in a bit of a rush to get to the airport didn't get a chance to try out the eateries here. The bus to and fro the metro station is pretty frequent probably max waiting time is about 10 minutes. Worth a detour before heading to...
