We took the Cable car from the tourist centre to the top of the mountain which is the entrance to Huangling. Many tourists and local visitors gathered at the Folks Museum Ground having some funs with some dried crops & props. A big Chinese words, “Dry Crops in Autumn” is prominently displayed which I supposed is their outstanding feature of this Village. !!! There is a main path that leads into lots of shops , stalls for snacks, wine shop, tea and coffee too. From far we could see the Hui-Style buildings, nestled into the side of the mountainous scenery. As we get further in, the path leads us to many different routes, going up and through, directory signages are well placed to guide visitors through. Heaven Street, (Tianjie Street) has an array of cute shops, hotels, snack bars, as well as restaurants and tea houses too. Some visitors are seen browsing through many wood or bamboo carving souvenirs. We walked into Liushun Hall. It is a quintessential example of traditional Huizhou residence, showcase the elegant style of Huizhou Architecture. The interior of the house faithfull reproduces the rural life scene in the 1980’s and 1990’s in old Huizhou. In the back kitchen, local elderly women with traditional customs prepare specialty delicacies and snacks. It gave us some understanding on their way of life and folk customs of this rural areas during that time. A sky bridge is practically floating in mid-air, spanning more than 200 meters across two mountain peaks, with a section of glass panels in the middle. An awesome view herein though, however we could see that some could not even muster the courage to step on the glass panel !! Huangling Village , regarded as the most beautiful village in China, is certainly worth the visit. With its original and restored houses & buildings, colourful harvest scenes in autumn, indeed a photographer’s paradise.

Huangling Scenic Area (篁岭景区) is one of the most beautiful villages in China. It has hundreds of Huizhou-style buildings with grey tiles and white walls. In addition, it is surrounded by several terraced farms. You can take a cable car towards the village. There aren't many people there in the morning, so it's easy to walk around and take photos. The highlight of this place is that people in the village hang their harvest fruits or vegetables near their houses and dry them on the roof when the sun rises, known as "Shaiqiu" (晒秋). Chinese people recommend several photo spots, including 五桂堂 for the best window view, 晒秋大平台 for the highest point to capture the village view, 花溪水街 for a small road with a waterfall, bridge, and shops, 爱国墙 for a wall with a map of China, and 垒心桥 for a glass plank road with a full terrace of rapeseed flowers (油菜花). There is also a workshop, a snack shop, many cafes, a restaurant, and a KFC here.

Having a great time strolling along small alley in this lovely Chinese-style village with lots of souvenir shops and small bites. There is a suspension bridge with glass tiles at the end of the village and on the other side of the bridge you can ride a zipline back to the village. You need to ride a cable car to the top, the view of rice & mustard terrace is amazing.

Came 篁岭村 here during the 晒秋 (Autumn Sun Drying) period by taking cable car. Ticket for adult is around RMB 150 which covered the cable car rides.

This place is the most spectacular scenic spot in this area. The weather is nice and the air quality is superb here due to high altitude.

Suggest to take slow walk and spend full day to enjoy the mountain village...
