Was told this is a landmark if you visit Nan’ao Island. Worth passing by if you’re already on the island, but wouldn’t say there is anything that special. There’s a beach nearby with jet ski services. Think this is an attraction meant for other Chinese tourists, definitely not a must do if you’re travelling from afar with no ties to Shantou.

On August 6, 2024, our very distant relative drove us to a very crowded beach nearby. After having a few of the mucky waters, I joined those who weren't in swimsuits to visit the mark here. As I only read about the Tropic of Cancer, it was an amazing experience to feel it on the ground!

The Mark is located in a plaza by a beach. Fine sand and lots of activities were going on the beach. It worth your while to take off your shoes and walk a romantic moment.
