Shantou Waisha Airport — Local services in Shantou

Worst experience ever. We arrived for a connection with other flight and we knew we had to wait 8 hours so we intended to go out to get to know the city (it was our first arrival to China). We tried to exchange money to leave the baggages there and the problem started... They didn't understood a word of english (not even the people of Information), they didn't accept credit cards, dollars or euros. The ATM was in chinese and the Wifi connection didn't worked due to the governament block. So we had to stay 8 hours sited on the floor, not being able to buy food, drinks or even know if there was a place near by that accepted credit card or dollars. Being an airport where a lot of international flights arrive, it's a shame that they don't have options for...
