Nanchang Street — Local services in Wuxi City

This was part of our tour. Nanchang street is a must for a night visit. It's lit up with lights,lanterns and the canal is picturesque. We spent 3-4hours walking around the canal area, it's filled with little shops and eateries. Not exactly cheap though. I did manage to buy a beautiful hand painted picture for 30 yuan. My daughter and I enjoyed a couple of varieties of squid on a stick. We ordered a dish from a restaurant , it was supposed to have lamb and prawns in it but we didn't get any lamb or meat, just prawns and mushrooms. My daughter got the prawns, I got the mushroom, cost of 68 yuan, 2 yuan per bowl of rice then a 2yuan charge each to use a bowl,plate and chopsticks, this was a hidden price, beware of sealed plates,they cost to use!!!! We were taken to Nanchang the following day, it was nothing like the night views, it looked a bit dinjie, most of the shops weren't open but we did manage to buy more squid pieces on a stick. 4 sticks for 15 yuan.
