Hernán was an absolutely amazing tour guide through Comuna 13. He is a true expert in all of the graffiti and artwork displayed around the Comuna.

He himself is a graffiti artist so he personally knows a lot of the artist that create the graffiti and paintings.

He also mainly does private tours of 1-2 people and it’s for a very very good price. The tour is very intimate so he isn’t shouting over a microphone like most of the tour guides do.

After going through the Comuna, he takes you around the neighborhood to a beautiful cemetery that has incredible graffiti and art on the walls. From some of the same artist in the Comuna. This is something I did not experience in the first tour with the guide. Hernán goes above and beyond to show you the beauty of the graffiti and art in and around the Comuna.

His English is also very good!

This was my second time doing the Comuna 13 tour and he is my favorite tour guide. I will be coming back again to see it because it’s a sight that will never old.

Hernán was an amazing tour guide, his knowledge of the area combined with his passion for art is truly unmatched. I'd also like to highlight I've never felt more safe with A tour guide in my life. He's deeply involved with the community, numerous people engaged with him from the neighborhood throughout the tour which made me feel more safe. Coming from another country to here, seeing the level of respect he had from others made me feel right at home. He effectively communicated my tour in both English and Spanish to allow me to practice my Spanish more which I greatly appreciated. He took me to A small coffee shop within the Comuna in which I drank a lemon coffee (I hate coffee) but that particular coffee was amazing I've been craving one since I left. He's a very heartfelt, passionate guide, I highly recommend touring with him.

PS. I recommend you try the lemon coffee even if you hate coffee like myself, it changed my life!

We loved the tour to Communa 13 with William! He was able to take us through the history of the city by telling stories about the people we met in Communa 13 and his personal life. The stories that have been told were reflecting on the walls in the form of graffiti and by hearing and seeing throughout rap and dance. We had a great day with a tourguide that gave us personal attention, who wasn't afraid to answer difficult questions and had a very happy and cheerful personality. Definately...
