Amazing view from the summit , you see most of the Aitutaki lagoon on the east side (probably worth the sunrise hike) and some of it on the west side. I did it in the afternoon, at a leisurely pace and it took us 20 min to the false summit (the gentle slope on light gravel road near the top at your left) and another 5min to the real summit (the crazy steep climb on blackish gravel road near the top at your right).
