El Hangar de El KPI — Local services in Belén

We traveled to Pinilla for a business trip. Late Sunday evening we were driving through Santa Ana on our way. We saw El KPI and decided it looked like a lively, though unexpected, roadside destination. Our meal was excellent - all six guests enjoyed their dish. Our sever was very attentive and spoke conversational English. The restrooms were especially clean. And the property is extremely well maintained. The owner, Manuel, even personally checked to ensure we were satisfied with everything. Overall, the experience rivals those in the resort areas, while being authentically local. The food is pretty but that’s where it ends. They use the cheapest food they possibly can and it taste like it. I rarely give a negative review but this place is expensive and could be great, but someone decided to cut every corner. Even the ketchup tasted like a cheap syrup. Wonderful restaurant that we discovered by accident travelling to Playa Brasilia and have visited many times since. Cappuccinos are amazing here. We enjoy the KPI hamburgers each time we visit. Staff are friendly and professional. Great prices compared to restaurants close to the beach. The restaurant has been built around a large mango tree and has beautiful grounds.
