Amazing I known cabuya and this island for more than 20 years, i have so many shootings here! it’s energy it’s incredible and for it to be a cemetery wow, you cross at low tide and then back same way you will see the ocean at both sides as the tide is low making just a stripe of reef where you can walk. Not so difficult. Couple waves around too in the right moment! Enjoy pura vida

Really neat spot to check out. You can walk to the island in low tide. Don’t get stuck there though! We had a friend that did and he wasn’t a happy camper. The island is where many local fisherman are buried. If you enjoy snorkeling, there are spots around the island with crystal clear water. Very nice!

Cabuya Island is a sacred burial site that was built in the early 1700, very interesting. We walked to the island at low tide, spent over one hour visiting the cemetery, the view is spectacular and was very peaceful, worth the trip.
