I gained so much healing and clearing from Horse Spirit Healing’s Level 1 Happy Horses Healing Hearts retreat. During the retreat I experienced firsthand the shamanic power of horses. I stood in the present, here and now, and asked a horse for healing while looking it in the eye. That was all it took. I began feeling the movement of energy in my physical body and saw the horse slip into a trance of channeling. Seeing is believing! I doubled over with abdomen contractions and the two of us worked together to clear blockages. After that moment, the results have been incredible. It was as if the horse shaman said, ‘Finally she is asking! Finally, we can unclog her’. Finally, she can step into her power. All she had to do was ask!’ So simple really, and yet so huge. After this amazing experience, I created my own Shamanic Horse Healing Retreat at Starr Horse Retreat and Arenas and we are hosting them monthly to share the shamanic medicine of the horses, along with other holistic healing modalities.

Letitia was a lively and dynamic facilitator during the retreat and continues to support us afterwards virtually. I loved the quirkiness of her charismatic presence and how she read the room. She was not in a bubble during her lectures and had an awareness and sensitivity to the participants. One word to describe Horse Spirit Healing…LOVE, which comes in many forms. When you hear the call to the with the herd and those who steward the herd, it may be a casual mention to plant the seed, and if you hear it again, perhaps that seed I ready to sprout. I arrived without expectation, knowing the herd would gift me a beautiful healing. Each day, a dose of exactly the medicine for me, with the thread of LOVE that holds us in connection.

My experience with both the herd and the guardians of the herd have reminded me to slow down, breathe into each moment, bring crisp awareness together with compassion, to know my boundaries and respect those of the other, and are expanding my capacity to feel and receive the richness that this universe is.

There is no space here for a lack of presence. I feel safe, guided well, and nourished during my time at Horse Spirit Healing, more soft in my spirit, open and upright in my body, clear in my mind, and I carry this essence with me everywhere I go.

I am so grateful to express and receive love in so many modes here, to witness these powerful beings, both physically and energetically, and work their magic purely by BEING.

Coming to this ranch fulfilled my childhood dream of being immersed with horses. But more importantly, it helped me overcome and heal deep inner childhood wounds and inter generational trauma. The horses are all beautiful and unique. There’s Wisdom, Chocolate, Bliss, Hope, Joy, and Little Light. You may find that you deeply connect with a particular horse. However they are all there to serve as shamans during your journey. The barn kitty and pupper are also such cuties and add to the animal experience.
