Hi, well what can I say ..... We have just come back from the most fantastic four hour ride to the Florida waterfall. Deanne and her team really go above and beyond to make the trip special. Each horse is not only chosen to match your height and weight, they are also chosen to match your riding ability, which goes to make the ride a far better experience than other rides. We have been on several rides at different places around Costa rica and I can safely say that this ride was by far the best in every respect. I think it would be hard to beat this for value for money, the scenery, friendliness and all round service given to us. Deanne really cares, not only about her wonderful horse and the dogs and cats she rescues, but also about you and the experience you have while you are with her. I really can't recommend this wonderful place enough, so much so, that we have already booked a second, slightly longer and more challenging ride for two days time. I had a truly wonderful experience with Deanne and her horses :)

The horses were amazing, very well taken care of and trained (speaking a a horse person myself). Deanne and her co-guide made sure everyone was paired with a suitable horse according to their level of experience, also taking their time to explain the horses character. During the ride, they were very attentive, giving additional instructions (e.g. how to approach uphill/downhill parts), keeping an extra eye on the two children and the less experienced and always making sure that riders and horses were comfortable. At two longer parts on the beach, they splitted the group up to allow the more experienced to canter/gallop while taking it slow with the others.

The scenery was amazing, beaches and jungle with great views, stopping for a longer break at a waterfall to rest and to take a swim.

100% recommendation for everyone seeking a truly horse centered riding experience! Thank you so much for this highlight of my stay in...

Fantastic sunset horse ride yesterday. Just us 4 and a guide from the stables. Horses were just what you might hope for on a tourist ride. ...Happy, well cared for, very responsive and calm.. our guide Indie was delightful... the inland scenery was stunning... saw howler monkeys! Rode for about an hour..stopped, and left the horses resting in the shade, for steepish short walk to a waterfall, W a series of small interlinked pools. Had a refreshing dip with fresh pineapple and filtered water for afters, carried along in saddle bags for us. My grown up kids enjoyed rope swinging W a fair drop into the water. Then rode the same route in reverse to a red-balled low setting sun. A perfect holiday horse ride... topped off W a welcome pint of iced lemon squash on our return. None of us have been on a horse since this time last year, same place! We are staying in Santa Teresa so organised ourselves a taxi ride to and fro. Compliments all round to the Indiana Horse Project...
