This is one of the most beautiful and natural places I've ever seen. Beauty everywhere. Rustic and isolated. A boatride necessary to anywhere else. Nature in its raw and unfiltered essence. Open air living, limited conveniences, but luxury compared to how our ancestors lived. Amazing food, grounds, life. Reymundo, who originally created this incredible place, is spiritually a part of this land. His presence obvious- not separate in any way. His 2 young sons have taken the torch in honor of his incredible vision and also to expand upon it with their unique gifts, talents, and special contributions. They do their best to share their home and property with whomever feels they are ready for such a journey and finds this hidden place. Not an easy balance to master. My first experience of Costa Rica. The life force of this sea- so different from the seas or lakes in the USA. SO many different plants, animals, fruits, foods, and processes that I've never seen or experienced in person before now. I came to learn and experience the local Costa Ricans way of life. To see if I could potentially live here one day after having had an entirely different life experience growing up in NY. A place like Dolphin Quest is a necessary culture shock to reconnect you to life for true spiritual growth. To learn not to fear nature in any way and to realize how little we all really 'need' to live and thrive. The Earth provides everything if we respect it, work for it, and give back. We must believe, however, that we are worthy of receiving its great gifts. It takes real bravery and humility to allow yourself to feel deeply, forgive your past, and know that you are worthy. True strength. Nature conservation, living off of the land and sea, and working sustainably with natural resources are very strong ethos presented at Dolphin Quest. I learned a lot, healed a lot, and shared a lot. I left my imprint, and part of my spirit there-which can never be changed or forgotten. The line staff and fellow visitors were amazing, kind humans I will always cherish. Huge success is coming for this magickal place. The universe has decided it, and that it's deserved. Thankfully, we don't decide such things, as too often we are our own harshest critics. Holding tight to old dark clouds because they feel familiar. We often dont realize how good we really are and that it's time to let the past go now. If we weren't deserving, the universe wouldn't give us what it does. We need to allow ourselves to feel this-not just know it. Face your darkness and fears to grow and see your true strength. Life is for learning to become kinder, more loving versions of ourselves, and pass this strength onto our children and lineage. Do our behaviors towards others honor those before us? What we mirror out, we get back. If I could do this and gain such gifts and abundance from this experience, so can anyone. My vibration withstood any and all challenges presented. I adapted. A testament to my practices, growth, and sincerity of heart. It's never too late, and there's no other time but now. I am a living example of that. Thank you for this dream come true experience. Nothing but love. Contact me any time. I'd always be happy to hear from you.

Our friends and I had been so excited to visit Costa Rica and experience Dolphin Quest, but I must say—it went far beyond anything I could have imagined. We expected an immersive nature experience, yet what we found was so much more. The spiritual, environmental, and cultural connections we felt on this beautiful property truly realigned my soul. Learning the history and story behind DQ gave this magical place even greater depth and meaning. Waking up each morning to the sounds of the jungle helped us disconnect from the busyness of everyday life—I haven’t felt such peace in a very long time. The biodiversity was breathtaking and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced as a nature lover. Reymar and Jahza do a phenomenal job caring for this special property and offering guests such thoughtful amenities. From the breathtaking boat rides, jungle hikes, fishing, and snorkeling, to simply relaxing in the hammocks, every moment felt special. And the meals—each one was a culinary work of art, sustainably grown right on the property. The freshness and care that went into every dish made them some of the best meals I’ve ever had. Overall, I can’t recommend Dolphin Quest enough. It’s a place to step outside your comfort zone, connect deeply with nature, and experience an authentic, raw, and beautiful part of the world. We will definitely be coming back!

Dolphin Quest is an amazing ecolodge on Gulfo Dulce/Playa San Josecito/Piedras Blancas National Park. I've visited here twice. My original visit was for a study abroad course in Costa Rica that my spouse was teaching. She is a Biology Professor. There is lots of biology to be observed here! Birds, insects, dolphins, whales, coral reef, reptiles, peccaries, etc. To visit, one would start by getting to Puerto Jimenez. I flew there via Sansa from San Jose. The plane held about 12 passengers, it was awesome. Once one arrives in Puerto Jimenez make your way to the boat dock. Someone from Dolphin Quest will pick you up there and take you via boat to the lodge. This is the only way to get there, the lodge is not accessible via automobile. Once there, enjoy all of the great locally sourced food they will cook for you, stargaze, do some yoga, hike, explore the calm waters, do the bioluminescent boat tour in the evening, drink a beer, relax, walk the beach (you'll practically have it to yourself). Please note that this is a rustic lodge so electricity is limited, there is no air conditioning, the shower water is cool, you have to wear bug spray and sunscreen. If one can tolerate this, it's a once in a lifetime kind of experience. With that being said, I suspect that once you've been you will want go back (like me).

My boyfriend Jake and I visited Dolphin Quest Costa Rica at the beginning of 2024 as part of our graduation trip after college—and what we thought would be a one-time adventure turned into something much deeper. We ended up returning just a few weeks later, bringing our brother and his girlfriend so we could share this unforgettable experience with them.|We spent a total of two weeks at Dolphin Quest, and truthfully, it was the soul of our trip.|Our first arrival was already magical. We flew in on a Sansa flight—something I'd never experienced before—and I’ll never forget the breathtaking views from above. The moment we landed in Golfito, we were greeted by Rafa, and from that point on, we felt completely taken care of. Every detail was thought of, and I felt a deep sense of safety and welcome, like we were coming home to somewhere we didn’t even know we belonged.|That first evening, we cruised through the Golfo Dulce at sunset. Dolphins swam directly at the bow of the boat. When we arrived at the property, we were escorted to our private cabin, which was lit by candles and soft lighting. It was something out of a movie—utterly romantic and peaceful.|Each morning, we woke up to the sounds of howler monkeys and other wildlife. We’d take a short jungle walk to the main building for breakfast, where we were greeted with a tray of fresh, vibrant health shots—something I still wish I could have every morning at home.|Reymar, Jahza, and Romy welcomed us with such genuine kindness and joy that it felt like we had known them for years. They were a huge part of what made this experience so special—pure magic from start to finish.|Every day brought something new—canoeing, fishing, snorkeling, jungle hikes, and moments where I pushed myself in ways I’ll always cherish. I felt more connected to nature and to myself than I ever have before. There was no noise, no rush—just presence, beauty, and peace.|Some of my favorite memories of myself exist at Dolphin Quest. It’s a place I speak about to every single person I meet, because it’s not just a destination—it’s an experience that reshapes you. It grounds you, opens your heart, and reminds you how magical life can be when you slow down and listen to the ocean, the jungle, the animals, and yourself.|To anyone considering Dolphin Quest: go. Whether you're a nature lover, an adventurer, or someone just looking to reconnect with what matters, this place will stay with you long after you leave. I know...

If you are someone who seeks nature, adventure, relaxation, and an authentic eco-experience, then Dolphin Quest in Costa Rica is the place you’ve been looking for! This immersive adventure exceeded all my expectations and quickly became one of the best experiences of my life.

The journey to Dolphin Quest itself is an adventure! Our lovely retreat host, Isabella, welcomed us, guided us on the boat ride to paradise, and shared some helpful tips along the way. The boat ride there sets the tone for the whole experience – it’s a spectacular introduction to a place that feels untouched by time. This beautiful jungle is in the heart of Piedras Blancas National Park. Imagine waking up to the sounds of Howler monkeys and seeing vibrant macaws in the trees each morning—it's truly priceless.

I stayed in the “Casita Cacao”
