We really enjoyed Leo our tour guide and the staff overall was awesome!We learned about coffee as well as important crops such as bananas, cacao, mandarin limes, sugarcane and rum. I brought up a book to the counter that costed 12,000 colones which is about 20 dollars, instead they tried to sell it to me for 50 dollars more than doubling the price. They told me something about higher book prices and fact it was used by tour guides. The rest of the store is full of overpriced and generic junk that markets itself as “authentic”.
